I made an attempt to go out to the Badlands this one day, but the weather was so bad (snow in April isn't so unusual in these parts) that I decided to trun back and wait for another day. Instead of taking Interstate 90 back to Rapid City where I was staying, I jumped on Old Main 14 (as the map calls it) and followed that aways. I came across this barn and some old trucks, captured in another photo. What a peaceful, serene setting this truly was!
