This handmade wood toy truck is a throwback to the world of toys many of us knew when we were young.
It is a replica Ford Model T Fire Truck complete with an extension ladder, hose reel, water tank, and rigid house sections mounted on the side.
The label on the side of the truck reads: "D. Vandebogart Fire Brigade" ~ a tribute to my cousin the volunteer fireman (in Millerton, NY),
his father, his (and my) grandfather, and all the other Vandebogart's who served their community for generations!
